Hi minna,

First let me apologize for being away from the blog.  I know alot of things have come up in the arashi fandom and I am aware of them all.  However, one of those unfathomable things happened to me in this beautiful holiday season. I will not go into detail but lets just say it hasn't been the best holiday season for me.

OK so were do i start? First lets start with the arashi fan club.  Someone shared the pictures and messages of the arashi members on twitter.  Of course wanting to share the love with those of us out of japan.  Apparently Johnny's didn't like this and covered it up until the pics and messages were removed.  Seriously don't they understand that we international fans care about them too.  I was very mad we help arashi get up there in sales too and not to mention we pay crazy money for shipping!!!!

No matter I saw them both and thats good enough for me!!!

Second fans were in outrage over AKB and now it appears Momoiro performing at the national stadium.  Since we all thought that ARASHI and the arafes was going to be the last group to perform there.  In my opinion Beyonce can perform there and I dont really care.  We all know the amount of work and happiness arashi gives to there fans no matter what stage tehy are at.  That AKB and MoMoiro will perform there wont change the fact that arashi is the KING of concerts!!!! Good luck to both AKB and Momoiro!!!!

Next the arashi fans (my guess is the japanese ones since our opinion doesnt really count for johnny's )  Went as far as to get the "scenes" for MatsuJuns new drama  Shitsuren Chocolatier censored.  I mean seriously how many of us would of liked to see those "scenes"  since its as close as most us will get.  Plus its not like Matsujun is 17 or anything he is 30!!! Perfectly beautiful and adult to make any kind of drama he wants.  As long as he is in it I will watch.

No the announcement for the ARAFES DVD has not been announced.  Hopefully it will since most of us were not able to attend it is the only way we can see it!!!! On a happier note on February 12 arashi will release the single for Matsujuns drama and the coupling song for the Sochi olympics.  Since Shokun has been assigned as the newscaster for the sochi olympics as well.

On another note  HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO OHNO AND AIBA!!!!!  I missed the birthday in the blog but not in my heart.  Aiba also has a new movie that will come out next fall titled "Miracle Debikuro-kun no koi to mahou" (Debikuro-kun's Love and Magic)

I am very happy my sister got me an arashi shirt for Xmas i totally cried was not expecting it. Especially when the price for arashi things are high!!!  I hope all you had a wonderful Holiday Season.   Have a great new year  and dont forget to watch the kohaku on the 31st.

In addition the Kotatsu de Arashi will happen again it will be on January 3 on Fuji TV a  day full of arashi!!! It includes Kotatsu de Arashi, VSA SP, Kagi Heya SP!!!!!

Ok minna I have to do this!!  Usually this blog is about MatsuJun whom I love.  However it has come to my attention that there are fans disrespecting done of the arashi members.  

Let's face it we all have a member who we like least than the rest. No one is perfect.  So on to why I'm posting this. 

It appears that at the last concert in Nagoya there was a fan with an a uchiwa bashing on sakurai.  Sakurai read the uchiwa and mentioned that maybe he should leave the group.  

Seriously!!!! Who do you think you are!!! You are lucky to attend the concert and to be noticed why do you wanna be noticed for something negative!!!!!!

I guess most of the people who read this blog are international fans you understand what I mean.  Some of us dream of the day we can see any member and be in Japan.

Sakurai looks like he's mean, an elite, doesn't care about fans, ignores them but I think this is a self defense mechanism for people like this.  He cares about the fans and there opinion since without them he couldn't be here!!!! He is sensitive so leave him alone!!!!  

Just for the record there are more people that love him than hate him. Arashi is made of 5 people. 5 people make arashi without one there is no arashi but a drizzle.  So if you don't like it Keep your mouth shut and stay out of the fandom.  We are here because we love arashi!!!  

I agree with everyone having an opinion but don't use it to hurt people.  

And with that I end my rant so please people love all of arashi!!!! Support them all and don't use your opportunities to hurt them or people.  We love you sakurai sho!!!!!

New MatsuJun drama

Just hear that MatsuJun will have a new drama titled !!!! 

Excited definitely the love album has had the best year sales so far.  So I'm excited maybe a new single will be coming to us soon.  Let's not forget the LOVE concert will also start in December!!! Ahhhh do many things happening and coming out love it.

We're do I start?

First I know this bog has been like abandoned for a way too long period of time which I could make up excuses but to be honest I just forget! 

With that out there let me start with the latest news on MatsuJun first hidamari no kanojo has been number 1 for two weeks in Japan!!! Omedetou jun!!!!  

Second it has been confirmed that arashi will once again be the host to kohaku Uta gassen with ayase haruka!!! Yatta! 

It appears that MatsuJun was seen attending keita and inoue maou play.  Which of course people took to saying they looked comfortable and whatever.  I make nothing of this since they worked together and they can remain friends.  I'm not he jealous type so I'm on with that.  

Of course I'm sure you all saw the covers for "love" the new arashi album.  Sadly I couldn't get the limited edition but hey something is better than nothing which by the way shipped on he 21st. Anxiously waiting by the mail box I might add. 

Talking about love the paradox preview was let me say sexy yup arashi members are all very sexy but MatsuJun is the best my favorite part of the song would have to be the sakurap let's face it something bout that rap gets you happy.

Happy 14 year anniversary arashi!!!! Today arashi celebrates 14 years of being a group.  To think it all started in Hawaii in 1999 wow time sure goes by fast.  It's special of course because with the creation of arashi came MatsuJun.  

One would not exist without the other. I'm celebrating I by watching arashi concerts and enjoying it to the max. Thank you arashi for staying as a group for such a long time.  Through thick and thin.  I hope that they will continue it for a long time and continue to inspire us and give us love and happiness. And of course MatsuJun. おめでとうございます 嵐!!!!

New album

I've had the blog abandoned for a while. I'm sure you all have heard that arashi's new album is called "LOVE" and it is set to release on October 23!!!! 

There has been some disappointment in the air regarding the name of the album.  I personally loved popcorn since it was creative.  But why complain if we're still going to buy the album no matter what the name is. 

I couldn't buy the LE since it was sold out even though I tried really hard. The good news is I did order the RE and it has the same songs.  Yatta!!! The bad part I get less pictures and no sexy P.A.R.A.D.O.X music video :'( 

Don't forget that MatsuJun new drama starts on the 23rd!!!!

MatsuJun birthday

Minna, 

First let me apologize I had said I would fill this month with info and I didn't gomenasai!!! It was a lit busier than I would of expected and I wasn't able to do much of anything. 

Today is not about me however it's about MatsuJun who is officially 30 today I can't believe it. So first I want to wish MatsuJun a happy birthday!  Thank his mom for having such a beautiful amazing son since with out him there would be no arashi. And Hana yori dango ( the drama) or any of those other amazing things hat he does.  

I hope that this year brings awesome things to him an the group.  Like always please continue to support both MatsuJun and arashi.  

As fr me I am one step loser to being in Japan. So I will continue to work hard to get there soon.

64th kohaku uta gassen!!!

It was just announced that ARASHI will be hosting this years Kohaku Uta Gassen for the fourth consecutive time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The will the again for the white while Ayase Haruka will be for the red team.  I love this combination despite what people say I love that arashi is so popular to continue to host the Kohaku again.  I love Ayase since I Hotaru no Hikari.  I hope everyone is as excited as me again for this year. 

Lets hope the boys and MatsuJun can win again this year.

New MatsuJun drama!!!

Ok so I'm about to have a heart attack because I didn't get the news until now!!!! 

It seems that our MatsuJun will be starting in anew drama called "hajimari no Uta" on NHK which will begin airing on September 23.  

It seems the drama was inspired by the song furusato which arashi made for kohaku Uta gasses in 2010, 2011, and 2012. 

MatsuJun will play "Wataru" a you g man who once dreamed of becoming a teacher in his hometown. Since he couldn't make it a reality he left his hometown for Tokyo and became a freelance photographer for a travel magazine. He then gets send back to his home town to get pictures where he meets his ex girlfriend who is a elementary school teacher.  Which brings out the motivation for teaching again.  

MatsuJun will have to play the piano like he did for natsu no koi he commented "though my role is a photographer, there will be a scene I have to play piano, so I would like to prepare well for both before I attend he filming I will do my best so that the viewers could find a delight in chorus, and also feel the power of music."

Aaaaahhhhhhh I'm so excited it is definitely jun month!!!!Right? Oh the ex girlfriend will be played by eikura nana in which they started in Boku wa imoto ni koi so suru together!!!!

August 1 yatta!!!

Do you know what today is if your on the other side of the world then its the 2nd if your on my side of the world its the first of AUGUST!!!! This month is super important because its not only my birthday but Matsujuns as well. 

While mine is on the 25 his is on the 30 and this is very important because for a total of 5 days our age gave shrinks from 8 years to 7 amazing!!!!  With that said it is my 2nd favorite month next to December for very obvious reasons.  I will try my best to get you all Junfull this month.  Considering I have work I might have to dig up info but I will do my best shinpai shinaide!!!!

Oh yes before I forget it looks like Johnny's net can now be seen in English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese!!!! Hopefully this is a sign that they will start opening to international demand!!! come on how cool would if be if we could join the fan club!!! KYAAA I can dream!!!  so if check it out!!!!

At first I had no idea what it was but then I looked at the rankings.  Aperantly it means coldness and can't seem to be able to read his thought face.  Which girls seem attracted to. 

Yes our MatsuJun is first!!!! First I'm glad he's number one because to me he's number one everything.  He got 832 votes, Ayana go cane in second with 697, Matsuda Shota number 3 got 535, Kameneshi Kazuya in 4 with 441 and another Johnny's member to make the top 10 was Yamamoto Yuta at 10 place with 252.

But seriously MatsuJun is so not cold!!!!😳 He's a dorky, clumsy, cute, beautiful, sarcastic person.  I think it comes from Hana yori dango era but he is clearly easy to read to me. What do you think? It could be my bias however I seem attracted to "being yourself so much your clumsy and dorky" personality. 

 

I would rank sho in first to be honest he seems colder to me.  We have the same personality so I would know of course that's just me.  Sorry for being out for long I'm still trying to get used to work.

Surprise

Ok minna it looks like I will be broke again. I just finished buying the 24 hr television cap and tshirt and now more good news.  At the wakuwaku gallium that was held this year aiba announced that the 2 day Arafes will be held September 21 and 22 at the national Olympic stadium.  

Which of course you can start voting for. The second was that their 12th album is set for release in the fall but no official date yet. With a new album comes of course a new tour within the 5 major domes which will start in November 18th and end in December 22nd.  

It looks like I will continue to be broke for a while thank god I have a job or else I would be crying.  Do minna look forward to it and continue to support arashi and Matsujun

Review of the Month

Hi minna its been a while since I have written here,

Mostly its due to the fact that I work all day and the lack of news involving arashi as well.  First off Congrats to ARASHI who managed to reach #1 in the oricon charts for the first half of 2013 at an amazing  10.95 billion yen, 3.022mil sales - 2 DVDs, 2 singles Yai!!!!

In other news  The Kazoku Game which has member Sakurai had the greatest rating in the whole time the drama was running at 16.2% I think I cant really remember.  I loved the drama and have yet to see the last episode which I will do after I'm done with this.

In other news the T-shirts for the 24 hour television has been released and to be honest I like it a lot better than last years but then I like polka dots so it makes sense.  With all this information I leave you!!!

Endless game cd!!!

I got home from work to find my arashi endless game cd had arrived!!!  Banzai!!!

The extra cost in shipping is definitely worth it and I am now working on learning the whole cd!!!  

On a side note with the 41st single it has marked the 30 time that arashi has gotten the top spot for its singles in the Oricon charts they are now in 4th place!!! Congratulations to them and me since we're both fairly happy right now!!!

Konnichiwa Minna,

Lately there have been many changes in my daily life including getting a full time job which is why the news on MatsuJun and Arashi are delayed.  I just need to get used to the schedule and I will be back to updating every time news comes out. 

First lets start with rankings!!!! There was a recent GOO Ranking in which the question was "Johnny's who seemed to be mentally strong"  For this ranking MatsuJun came in 4th place with 1164 votes which is pretty amazing right?!  The other members came as follows: Sho-kun 5th place with 1078 votes, Nino in 7th with 954 votes, Aiba in 15 place with 388 votes, and Ohno came in 2nd with 1846 so congratulations to him.  I think that because of his personality it seems that MatsuJun does indeed get 4th place but somehow I just don't see Ohno as number 2 I would switch him and Sho-kun but that is just my view of course. 

Second order of business is that Arashi will team up with a group of young directors for a special show.  I'm not really sure what all of it is but as I read it is as follows.  They will be working with a young director and they will do different things depending on the direction that they are given.  It is with Fuji TV’s  and it is called “Atarashi Arashi“ it is a 2-part special program.  For this special MatsuJun will be ni kyu on challenge were he must remain cool and beautiful while facing his challenge.  Of course I have full confidence that he will do an amazing job as he is a great actor and can set up a poker face if needed.   The other members will be as follows Ohno “mischief” Sho-kun  on “real face”; Aiba on  “gourmet”; and Nino on  “comedy.”  It looks like an interesting special so make sure you check it out. The first broadcast of “Atarashi Arashi” will be on July 13th (11:30PM, JST) and on July 20th (11:40PM, JST).


And finally the music station performance of "Endless Game" I like it they all look fantastic. Loving the suits I have to say the movements are a little dramatic but they have a great impact.  They all look really cool and honestly sexy doing some of those moves I cant wait to see them doing it for a concert.  I liked the performance its something different and it definitely fits arashi.  Here is the link so you can check it out.

I have been out for a while forgive me.  Things should be alot easier now since I have officially graduated from college on Friday!!! Now on to the job market I hope I find a job soon or my buying of arashi items will cease to exist.  Anyways enough about me.  Today I bring the covers to the endless game single!!!

I have been busy with school to update and there hasn't really been anything MatsuJun related anyways.

I did promise screen caps from the last himitsu episode which I will do within the next week.

Anyways on a Matsujun note I was watching arashi no shiyagare when they mentioned something interesting about Matsujun. According to Sho-San he stated that for the last 5 or 6 years MatsuJun tends to get nervous. Like we all know they form a circle and say try your best and all that.

Well Sho-San said that the have mirrors in the dressing room and MatsuJun stands in the front of the mirror going "suuu" to relax himself. Appearantly this was not something our MatsuJun would do so he yes he gets nervous like the rest of us.

I honestly thought they didnt since they have been doing this for a long time.  It is however nice to see that our MatsuJun still gets nervous when hes going to perform aww that makes him a whole lot cuter!

Himitsu No Arashi-chan over

I just came to the realization that the last episode of Himitsu was yesterday.  This is really sad to me since it is the one show that had arashi that I enjoyed the most.  There are all the times they got dropped in the water of ice for having bad answers regarding romance.  Going into haunted houses, Making MatsuJun go on a date with Oshima, dealing with aibas crazy ideas of a date.

My favorite part is that we got know a little of the members feeling regarding women, their jobs, etc.  Plus we also got a sense of MatsuJun's bad outfit ideas in Mannequin 5. 

I have only this to say: It was a good run, very entertaining, and enjoyable.  I hope that they get a new show so that our arashi fix will be met.  

with these thoughts I leave you.  I'm thinking of uploading some of my favorite Himitsu pictures of MatsuJun but I will get to those later.  (probably during the weekend)

Arashi Popcorn DvD

Hi minna,

After complaining about the popcorn concert dvd.  My prayers have been answered.  It has been announced that the Arashi Popcorn DVD concert will be released 4/24!!!!

The DVD concert footage will be from the Tokyo Dome concert which took place in december of 2012.  Lets face it its going to be awesome!!!!
Apperantly the first press edition comes in a special packaging and retails for 5,600 yen.

MatsuJun own variety show???

Well minna,

I don't know how much you guys stay to date with arashi stuff. But recently Sho-san, Nino-san and now Aiba-san are all going to start in their own variety shows. 

So right now the only ones without a show are Riida and Matsujun.

Which makes me thing if maybe our Matsujun will get his own show too??? And if so what kind of show will it be??? 

I kind of like this then I don't.  Its good that they are expanding and getting their own shows but I cant help but worry that this will start competition between them.  That's part of the arashi charm that they all look like really good friends that stick together.  With all of them going on their own shows I'm sure that will bring out competitions.  (other than with drama ratings)

In addition to another worry that they are kind of separating.  I'm so used to seeing all five of them together on varieties and it makes me sad to think that it could lead to other kinds of separation.  I don't want to think worst case scenario.  I know you all know what I mean? (end to arashi) WAAAHHH even the thought makes me cringe and want to cry!!!

I just hope that if they do get there own shows that our Arashi remains our Arashi like it is (more popularity wouldn't hurt right?),  together, happy, and for many years to come. 

And that if our MatsuJun does get his own show that it is a good one!

700k in sales

This was the best first week sales for the group since their debut back in November 1999, as their previous best sales for a single was 572,000 copies with “Hatenai Sora” (released in November 2010). Their best first week sales for an album was 753,000 copies with “All the BEST! 1999-2009” (released in August 2009).

It is also the first time in 6 years and 11 months that a single from a male artist eclipsed 700,000 copies in the first week since it was last achieved by KAT-TUN with their debut single “Real Face” (sold 754,000 copies in the first week/ released in March 2006).

“Calling/Breathless” is their 29 consecutive single (and 36th single in total) to top the chart.

I'm so happy I could cry! Thanks to everyone who bought the double single and who continue to support arashi. Wow I bet MatsuJun is so happy today. Despite the fact I'm in class right now! Omedetou arashi!!!

Hidamari no kanojo

MatsuJun has finished filming the movie that he started with in January. Like I said before its a love story with ueno juri I really like this combination anyways regarding the film and his work with this

After filming ended, Matsumoto stated, “This film has led me to think that perhaps this is the last movie I’ll film in my 20’s.” Regarding Ueno, who plays as his lover in the film, Matsumoto said satisfactorily, “Her attitude towards her role is very wonderful, and it was exciting. I was comfortable with her, and she was pleasant to film with.”

Which in response Ueno said this
Ueno shrugged her shoulders as she said, “Until now, I have not exactly filmed a love story…,” and followed with, “I learned a lot.” She also sent out a love call to Matsumoto with, “I have found many wonderful things about him. I felt that I had a lot in common with Matsumoto. As a person, he is wonderful and I think it would be great if could appear together in a film with him again regardless of the type of role.”

Well of course I'm glad people keep Aeri g what we already know. I'm glad everything went well with the film can't wait to see it.

What's more its true this might be lady movie out MatsuJun does in his 20's he will be 30 this year. That's pretty hard to believe but people only get better with age like wine lol so I'm sure we will have plenty of good things to come.

Oh by the way the sales for the first day of arashi new double single we're 397,304!!! Which landed them at number 1 for daily in Oricon!!!

I am super happy since today I sent in my preorder for the new arashi calling/breathless cd!!! I had a really hard time deciding which one to get but I went with the regular for 2 reasons!  First I live in the US and I cant view the Japan dvds and 2 I like the cover!

Recently I have been thinking of maybe opening a twitter page that would be connected to this blog.  It would include matsujun information, thoughts, etc...

There are fan pages for the other members but there doesnt seem to be one for our Matsujun.  I have been looking trust me!

So after much deliberation I have decided to open one!  I will post the details in a bit

Ok minna I finished the lucky 7 special but I have a long day today! Sadly I won't get to it till later. But I do have some awesome MatsuJun screen-caps that will make up for the long wait.

On a side note I have also decided to review all of MatsuJun dramas and the concerts with Arashi. This will give everyone something to look at when there is little MatsuJun news to go around. I will provide screen-caps of my favorite MatsuJun faces during the dramas and concerts. However keep in mind this will take me some time so be patient with me.

I go to school full time and do internship so my free time is limited. But I will do my best to bring you reviews at least every 2 weeks.

If I get something like news or rumors regarding MatsuJun or arashi I can get to those fast because I can use my phone but drama watching and arashi concerts take more time and a tv which I don't have at work.

MatsuJun Rumor!!!

Well minna I have some interesting MatsuJun Rumor are you ready?

There is this rumor stating that MatsuJun visits a specific club in Roppongi.  He stays in the VIP room and gets an attendant to get girls to visit him in the VIP room.  Apperantly he shows his face and tells them if you want to kiss me make a line. 

He then picks one have a few drinks and the rest I will leave to your imagination.  I honestly dont think that this is true.  As stated in the beginning it is a rumor.  However, it is pretty funny.

Lets be honest who wouldnt line up! I would!  Now if someone can tell me the name of the club that will be my first stop on my trip to Japan and I will gladly confirm if this is true or not!  Im just saying I will gladly volunteer to discover the truth behind this. 

MMM I wonder what qualifications are in order to get picked? Any ideas?

Matsujun Album?!

Hi Minna,

I know I said I would post on friday but I got sidetracked with homework.  (if your in college you understand and if you dont im sorry).  Anyways I will try to get to it today if not I will during the week.

Enough of that today I have some Matsujun ranking news!!!! Banzai!!! It has been while hasnt it.

There was a Goo Ranking to see who the fans would want from the johnnys to release a solo album and of course people say it is a popularity type of thing but who cares.

Our beloved MatsuJun came in at number 9 with 758 votes.  It is really not that bad since he is in the top 10.

In my opinion I like Matsujuns voice the most since it is so unique and different I just love it!  Theres something about his voice I dont know what it is. But its there!

 All of the arashi members were on the list which is good.  Ohno came in at number one so congrats to him! I wonder what type of album Matsujun would release?

New arashi song!!!

Aiba's new drama last hope will start soon and I was wishing there would be a be single at there will be!!!:)

It has been confirmed that arashi's 40 single will be called "calling" it is a rock type kind of song and it seems no sakurap will be included. It is said to be released on March 6.

So MatsuJun fans be happy new arashi music coming our way very soon!

Jun Update!

Hi minna,

Sorry lately there hadnt been anything to write about.  However I do got some news it apperantly hits all at once first is everyone knows that MatsuJun is really good friends with Oguri Shun right? 

Well as you know Oguri Shun got married last year with Yamada Yu and they holded the wedding ceremony on the 5 in HAWAII!!! How lucky are they?

Anyways how does this connect to Matsujun?  He was of course on the guest list and sources point to him attending this celebration.  This goes to show how important friendships are to Matsujun lets face it its not easy to leave your job to attend a wedding outside the country.

For this Matsujun gets another point in my book!  Before I forget dont forget to send positive vibes to our MatsuJun who will be filming this month for his new movie "Hidamari no Kanojo" which will be released in October! Yai.

Now whats MatsuJuns first accomplishment of the year?  I would have to say that the Lucky 7 special got good rating it got an average of 15% which is not bad at all.

On a arashi note which includes our beloved Matsujun it seems that the Arafes dvd sold 624,000 in a week! Awesome! Congratulations!  The DVD thing is a little hard to explain but it looks like they are in 3 different categories where they are either tied or have a position for most dvds sold. 

On a side note I dont know how reliable this is but it was published that the arashi members only got 20 Million yen as an annual income.  Well there was said that this is because of the Johnny's welfare system.  Basically what it is is that it takes 5% of what they gain and saves it up for a later time.  Apperantly you can only get on this for people of annual sales of 100 million yen or more only within the johnnys and they are numbered.  I got this information from Arama so you can see it for yourself if you want the whole story.

But basically it is as if these members are saving for their future and their families awww that just earned Matsujun ten points.  Yup they will continue to keep adding up at this rate! I think its sweet that Kitagawa is putting this much thought into their futures.

Ok so everyone knows that arashi was the host for 24 hr television in 2012!

Well great news they will also be the hosts for 2013! Yai more matsujun to see!

The theme for this year is "Japan is...? ~The shape of this country~". Which is meant to focus on the good and bad things of Japan.

By the way it's the first time the same hosts have been chosen in 2 consecutive years.

This will be arashi's 4 time hosting talk about a record!
